Cheddar Valley u3a took to the airways…
as a team from the group joined Simon Parkin on Radio Somerset, took part in his mid morning quiz, achieved third place and qualified for the next round. This helped publicise the Open Day, which was a great success with many of the large number of visitors becoming members after discovering what we have to offer.
Our AGM takes place on 30th May at 1:30pm in Sharpham Road Pavillion and is your chance to join the Committee (only 6 meetings annually) to help shape our u3a’s future. Come along, you’ll be welcomed.
